Its amazing how easily things come together when we follow the path God lays out.
We are about to embark on the biggest journey of our lives ,are we nervous ? Yes, but we have peace in knowing if God wills it He will be with us every step of the way ,He will be our cloud by day and our fire by night ,parting any Red Sea we come to and carrying us safely across.
It started with a prophetic word 4 years ago that basically said God had big plans for us and alot of things were going to change .Step by step He led us along the road ,first in small ways then to a half way across the country move to Kansas City to train us for what was coming .
We spent a year ministering in the Healing rooms of The International House of Prayer learning prayer ,healing ,loving the stranger,the least of these and the down trodden.
Then my husband and I both separately received almost identical prophesies from random people in the community that we were to be doing inner healing with youth , this happened multiple times. And the Lord led us to training specifically in inner healing.We had thought He was calling us to California but we knocked and knocked and got no answer .God then led us to look farther south to Baja California Mexico and everything lined up with the prophetic word four years prior and doors have begun to open .We've received confirmation after confirmation.
We see a major need for the inner healing process we've been training in ,in the orphanages around Northern Baja and our hearts break for the youth trapped in brokenness,shame,addiction,depression and abandonment there .
We know it is a dangerous area ( though not more so then our hometown Washington D.C.)
Having three children of our own ages 3-16 we are soberly aware of what this means ,we will not casually put our childrens in a unhealthy situation we have investigated thoroughly and tried to implement this plan in as wise a manor as possible ,but the wisest thing we can do is follow Gods leading.
So now at the present moment we will be leaving in a couple weeks to the next stop the Lord has planned for us and that is Arizona there we will continue our training and be able to make exploratory trips into Mexico and acquire the necessary paperwork.
Then we will move home and family to the foreign land to which the Lord is calling us to as our new home .
And we will see what unfolds as God reveals His further plans for us there.
God took us out of darkness two very unlikely people to become His disciples ,His servants,His followers .He set us apart for a reason and that reason will be made know in His time .
What He did for us is so amazing ,we are SO grateful for everything Hes given us .
So we have to give it back and that is what propels us down this road ,it is what compels us to eagerly say"Where you go I go "
Hes called us to leave everything and follow Him so we are throwing down our nets, going and not looking back.
